Well, we made it! My tribe and I just settled in the little village of Chester in Vermont and I couldn’t be happier to be building my new life one day at a time on the East Coast. Though I won’t lie, a New England autumn would be nice right about now. It’s currently 87 degrees outside and I’m frying like an egg. Perfect time to curl up in a dark room with the fan running and blog my last few days in WA state.
I’m going to miss the families that I photographed there something fierce…especially this one. This session was taken at Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend, a cute little town in WA and a location with a fantastic hiking trail. It’s families and locations like this that make me continually want to pull my camera out. And it’s families like this that make me commit to returning to the West Coast in the future. I don’t want this to be the last time I capture their smiling faces <3
